Edwin “Vice” Vigilar

Edwin has been an avid Taekwondo practitioner since 1986. He’s a two-time National Champion and won the Best Player award in 1988. He entered the military in 1989 immediately after graduating from high school. He graduated from the Philippine Military Academy in 1993 and served in the Navy for 12 years. He’s currently a 3rd Dan (degree) black belt and is actively training and refining his skills and knowledge of Taekwondo in preparation for his advancement to 4th Dan in 2023.

He also plays soccer, volleyball, tennis, badminton, and enjoys swimming.

Edwin overcame his dislike of running when he was challenged by his friends to train and participate in his first Half Marathon in 2020. He just completed his second Half Marathon in 2022 and is already looking forward to running his first full marathon.
